As has become a regular fixture, we start the 2026 flying season with a meeting at the spiritual home of the Club in beautiful north Shropshire

Goodwood, W. Sussex, 9th May 2026

Our last visit to the former RAF Westhampnett in 2022 was blessed with “Glorious Goodwood” weather – fingers crossed for a repeat!

Old Buckenham, Norfolk, 13th June 2026

Over to the Brecks of Norfolk, arguably the “foinest” county in England, for our Eastern Meet at the former USAAF Station 144, which once echoed to the sound of B-24 Liberators.

Sherburn-in Elmett, 18th July 2026

The Northern meet this year will be held in Yorkshire, at an airfield where 1,699 Fairey Swordfish were assembled in WW2. It is now a premier GA location and boasts Digby’s Café to keep us well-fed.

Wickenby, Lincs, 15th August 2026

We return after 3 years to one of our favourites; RAF Wickenby was home to the Lancasters of 12 squadron for much of WW2.

Henstridge, Dorset, 19th September 2026

It is some years since we held an event here, the former HMS Dipper, a satellite of nearby RNAS Yeovilton. The runway once incorporated a dummy deck complete with arrestor cables, replicating that installed on HMS Implacable.
