G-ASSW was one of the first two Cherokee 140’s imported into the UK by CSE Aviation at Oxford in 1964. She has been maintained regardless of cost and is in superb order. Rudder bar AD recently completed and fuel tanks have been totally refurbished by Hartwig in Canada. She was invited to become an exhibit in the 2014 Freddie March Spirit of Aviation at the Goodwood Revival.
The present owner (a VPAC member) has owned SSW twice, but now has decided to seek another aviation project. There are many Cherokees on the UK register but SSW is exceptional.
